After this titanite was peeled from its Slab, it is said that it received a special power, but its specific nature is not clear. Twinkling Titanite is an Ore in Dark Souls. Rest at the bonfire near the beginning of Ash Lake. Upon defeating the first two clams you see, use Homeward Bones or the Homeward miracle to quickly respawn them. Repeat as much as you like. If the clams are too tough for you an ultra greatsword or similar weapon with high damage can infinitely stun the clams when timed correctly.
These clams are very susceptible to fire. One of them is a reward after spending 20, souls buying stuff from her and then talking to her. The other three are sold to the players after they obtain the King's Ring. That would be the one in the Undead Crypt, in the same room as King Vendrick.
Just make sure to come back to Stone Trader Chloanne after obtaining this key item. It shouldn't be hard to miss this area, as it's necessary to progress through in the game. Before players can access it, they might want to look around first. Just before the Memory of Jeigh lies a corpse with two Twinkling Titanite. Before accessing the memory, just drop down on the left to find it. This corpse can also be farmed multiple times, though doing so requires the use of bonfire ascetics.
Two can be found from a corpse near where the Tower Key is located after activating the elevators. Three are also located in a wooden chest in Brume Tower after the Upper Floor bonfire.
These three can then be farmed multiple times, assuming the players have bonfire ascetics in hand. One of the corpses located in the area populated by pesky Sanctum Soldiers and Archers has three Twinkling Titanites. You can only acquire them from a few different methods — but they can be farmed. Darkwraiths are your best bet for farming.
Equip a weapon that can kill Darkwraiths in one hit with a backstab, or just any weapon that can quickly kill them — anything with lightning. Equip the Covetous Serpent Ring and increase your Humanity for higher rare item drop chance. Defeat all the Darkwraiths in the area — there are at least 7 Darkwraiths you can hunt.
Even if you haven't looted every Twinkling Titanite location in your playthrough, you might want to use these farming strategies anyway to save some time. Make your way to the Dragon Aerie bonfire and proceed through the level. Kill all of the Crystal Lizards in the region, making a detour to kill each dragon as you do this. Loop back to the bonfire when you're done, burn a Bonfire Ascetic, and repeat as needed.
This farm is great for obtaining upgrade materials in general , not just Twinkling Titanite. Bring a lightning weapon or miracles to make the dragons easier to kill. Increase your item discovery as much as possible before doing this. You can either farm the lone Archdrake under the first bonfire or farm the enemies at later bonfires.
It's up to you. When you've cleared the area of enemies, head back to the bonfire and reset the zone. Rinse and repeat.
